Tottenham Hotspur fans enjoyed Joachim Andersen’s reaction as he belted Arsenal’s sanitising station at full-time yesterday.
The Tottenham linked central defender had seen his Fulham side throw away an advantage in injury time at the Emirates Stadium and was clearly furious.
On his way back to the tunnel the central defender lashed out at the Arsenal brandished stand.
His reaction may just have been borne out of frustration but it simply helped to endear him even more with Tottenham supporters.
Football London have reported how they expect Tottenham to make a bid for Andersen in the summer.
The £25 million-rated Fulham loanee (Telegraph) has impressed despite the Cottagers’ struggles this season, and he played well again against Arsenal yesterday.
With Tottenham on the hunt for a defender Andersen could well be a good option.
Not only is he a vocal leader, but he also now has a year of Premier League experience under his belt, and he could be an upgrade in Tottenham’s current options at the back.
