Dele Alli has enjoyed another sensational season in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham’s Dele Alli is being tipped for the top by Martin Jol
Former Tottenham boss Martin Jol has suggested Dele Alli is almost the perfect number 10 and added that the England international has the potential to become a player pushing to be worth £100 million, the Daily Mirror reports.
Alli has enjoyed another fabulous season in the Premier League – it is arguably incredibly easy to forget that it is only his second year in the top flight – with 17 goals coming in the top flight, while he has also contributed five assists.
And Jol has been full of praise for what Alli has already achieved and suggested that he can become one of the most valuable players in the entire world if he keeps developing at the rate he has so far during his brief career.
“I think Alli is going all the way,” he said, as reported by the Mirror.
Alli has scored 17 league goals this term
“I think he will be not far off a £100m player. The boy can play simple, he is skillful, he can run, he’s got great stamina and he can score goals.
“He is almost a perfect number ten. With Eriksen as a number ten as well, it’s so difficult for opponents to deal with Spurs’ system.”

While a number of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad have impressed massively over the last couple of years, it is surely the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen and Alli himself that are perhaps amongst those on another level.
And it is for that reason that if Tottenham can keep hold of those key players, then they will surely keep progressing by battling on multiple fronts and genuinely competing for silverware in every single competition they enter.
