Matthew Upson has said on BBC Radio 5 live that Raphinha’s finish for Leeds United’s second goal against Fulham this evening was not great.
Raphinha found the back of the net for Leeds in the 58th minute of their Premier League game against Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in London.
The Brazilian winger scored from inside the box after being sent through by Patrick Bamford.
It proved to be the winning goal, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side got the better of Fulham 2-1.
Former Arsenal and West Ham United central defender Upson was following the match for BBC Radio 5 live, and he was not overly impressed with the finish from Raphinha.
Upson has said on BBC Radio 5 live: “What a sucker punch from Leeds United. Super energy, super speed. Fulham have themselves to blame.
“Mario Lemina gets caught by Kalvin Phillips. They just don’t deal with it. It’s a funny finish from Raphinha, he almost fumbles the ball in. He swings a toe at it.”

Winning goal
Perhaps it was not the most graceful of touches from Raphinha, but the fact of the matter is that it got the job done.
It proved to be the winning goal and saw Leeds pick up all three points from the encounter against Fulham.
Leeds can now head into the international break in a very positive mood and still on track to finish in the Premier League top 10.
