Felix Nmecha has been linked with Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United, but it seems that he is on his way to Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
Felix Nmecha linked with Newcastle United and Manchester United
The Telegraph reported last month that Newcastle United are interested in signing Manchester United target Felix Nmecha and were preparing to make a bid for the 22-year-old VfL Wolfsburg midfielder.
The report has claimed that the box-to-box midfielder would cost £15 million in transfer fees.
Sport1 reported that Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund were also keen on the Germany international.
On verge of Borussia Dortmund transfer
Fabrizio Romano is now reporting on Twitter that Nmecha is on his way to Dortmund now.
The Italian journalist has claimed that the youngster has almost completed his medical with Dortmund and will soon complete the transfer to the German club.
This will come as a disappointment to Newcastle and Manchester United, given that both the Premier League clubs wanted to sign him.

Nmecha made 19 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga last season.
The 22-year-old scored three goals and gave five assists in those matches.
