Newcastle United have star man Miguel Almiron back at the club after a summer break.
Almiron returned yesterday, later than his teammates due to his involvement with Paraguay at the Copa America.
He sent a short message via his Instagram account expressing his excitement at being back.
His positivity might be just what Newcastle need right now.
This is Almiron’s first pre-season at Newcastle, following his January move from Atlanta United.
He is no longer Newcastle’s record signing, having been superseded this week by new boy Joelinton.
Almiron will be able to use this time to get familiar with him, while also adjusting to new manager Steve Bruce.
Newcastle’s first game of the season is a tricky one against Arsenal, but Almiron and Joelinton are two attackers who if they can click together, can cause the Gunners’ defence problems.
