A report this week suggested Newcastle United playmaker Miguel Almiron could be dropped by manager Steve Bruce.

The Daily Star claimed Bruce wants to change it up, with Almiron still yet to score his first goal for the club.

This was a suggestion which was not received well by Newcastle supporters.

As for Almiron himself, he has responded by showing he does not plan to let the rumours distract him.

He sent a brief message on Instagram from the club’s latest training session saying he continues to keep pushing on.
