Burnley had been in strong form, unbeaten in the Premier League in 2019 before the game, and were coming off a win over Tottenham.
Newcastle made surprisingly light work of the Clarets, winning the home fixture 2-0.
Record signing Almiron started the game and he was delighted to play a role.
He commented on the team spirit after the game in a brief Instagram post.
The victory is Newcastle’s second in a row, and their second clean sheet.
Unsurprisingly Almiron is happy, even if at present, he is capable of much more than he has contributed so far individually.
