Newcastle United brought in Miguel Almiron in January.

According to The Chronicle, new Newcastle United signing Miguel Almiron has already struck up a friendship with striker Salomon Rondon.
Almiron joined the Magpies in a club-record deal on deadline day in January, marking a hugely exciting deal for Newcastle fans.
The Paraguayan international made his debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers last week, and showed real promise in a cameo which showed off his blistering pace.
Almiron will hope to make a first start this weekend against Huddersfield Town, and even so soon into his time at St James’ Park, he appears to have a strong relationship with one Newcastle ace.
The Chronicle claim that Almiron already has a friendship with striker Rondon, and that should be an exciting piece of news for Newcastle fans.
Almiron is set to play off Rondon under Rafael Benitez, and the pair already having a friendship off the pitch bodes well for their chemistry on the pitch.

It’s also fascinating given that Almiron played off Josef Martinez for Atlanta United, one of Rondon’s international teammates with Venezuela.
Martinez hit 55 goals in 61 games whilst playing with Almiron, and if he can form a similarly impressive partnership with Rondon, Newcastle will be very dangerous going forward.
