Glasgow Rangers crashed out of the Scottish League Cup, with the Ibrox side losing their semi-final 2-0 to Motherwell.
Kenny Miller
Miller appears to be in danger of being in a situation where his days at Ibrox are numbered, having not featured in the Light Blues’ last three games, with the Daily Record reporting that the veteran’s relationship with manager Pedro Caixinha appears to be at breaking point.

The 37-year-old was in the stands at Hampden Park as Well set up a final with Celtic by beating the Gers 2-0 thanks to a brace from Louis Moult. And Rangers legend McCoist suggested that not having Miller available cost the side.
“That is there for everybody to see, and there is no doubt about it, that is a big, big mistake.”

Of course, Miller brings a wealth of knowledge and, apart from Bruno Alves perhaps, is the most experienced member of the Light Blues squad when it comes to featuring on the big stage. That may perhaps have made him valuable, even if his recent form has not been up to scratch and he has not featured for a number of weeks.
But if Caixinha felt that having Miller in his side for the game would be detrimental, and would hurt the team given what has gone on – regardless of who has been judged unfairly in their reported dispute – then, of course, he could have never been expected to put him in the side.
