Ibrox legend Ally McCoist praised Liverpool-owned Rangers winger Ryan Kent for his performance against Rapid Vienna on BT Sport 3 on Thursday evening (October 4, 2018).

Former Rangers striker and manager McCoist was doing the co-commentary on the match for BT Sport 3, and he spoke highly of Kent when the Liverpool-owned winger was being substituted in the 90th minute of the Europa League Group G game at Ibrox on Thursday evening.

McCoist said about Kent on BT Sport 3 on Thursday evening (October 4, 2018): ‘Possibly man of the match. He has been superb tonight, Ryan Kent.”

Quality performance

Kent was one of the best players for Rangers on Thursday evening, as Steven Gerrard’s won the Europa League match 3-1.

The 21-year-old, who joined Rangers on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, has been playing well for the Gers in recent weeks and is now a key figure in the Ibrox club’s team.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox on Thursday evening, hosts Rangers had 55% of the possession, took nine shots of which five were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
