Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has impressed during his time in charge at Ibrox.

Rangers legend Ally McCoist spoke exclusively to talkSPORT this morning (Friday, August 17th), and offered high words of praise for the job being done by Steven Gerrard, suggesting that the solidarity he is witnessing amongst the Gers players has not been present at Ibrox for a number of years.
There is certainly a buzz of excitement emanating from Rangers this season, following Gerrard’s appointment as manager in the summer, after six or seven barren years at Ibrox.
The Glasgow giants have taken four points from their opening two Scottish Premiership games, including a tricky away game at Aberdeen, and have safely secured their passage through to the play-off stage in the Europa League.
McCoist, who scored a club record 355 goals for Rangers, praised Gerrard for bringing back a certain level of solidarity to the football club, when speaking exclusively to talkSPORT this morning:

“I think there is a real solidity about Rangers, particularly at the back, that we’ve not seen in a number of years. Steven Gerrard will be very, very pleased and quietly happy with himself with the start to the season.”
Next up for Rangers is a tricky trip to Rugby Park to take on Kilmarnock on Sunday, but they will be full of confidence heading into the game, following their impressive start to the 2018/19 campaign.
