Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were knocked out of the Europa League last night, with Steven Gerrard left disappointed.

Coulibaly started the season in fine form for Rangers, but since picking up an injury his performances have dipped.
McCoist was once again underwhelmed by Coulibaly’s showing in Steven Gerrard’s side’s midfield yesterday, as Rangers lost 1-0 to Rapid Vienna.
And McCoist said: “Rangers need to see more from Coulibaly. I don’t think he’s ben the same player since he’s come back from his injury. I don’t know if he’s still got a little niggle, but he doesn’t look the same player he was.”
Coulibaly’s energy was key to Rangers over the early part of the season, but he has become more and more wasteful in possession.

Gerrard has continued to back the loanee, but Coulibaly could see his place come under threat after Rangers have completed their January transfer business.
Gerrard is known to want to bring some new faces to Ibrox, and Rangers are likely to target a central midfielder.
Rangers managed to stay in the game until the latter stages in Austria, but they were undone in the closing stages, when Dejan Ljubicic finished nicely.
