Chris Coleman has already taken charge of his first Sunderland match, but saw his side beaten.

Sunderland announced Coleman as their successor for Simon Grayson last week, after he stepped down as Wales manager.
And McCoist feels that Sunderland are in safe hands, although he is surprised that Coleman wanted the job at the Stadium of Light.
“It’s a good choice if you’re a Sunderland supporter,” McCoist said. “I’m surprised Chris has taken the job, as I thought he could have got a Premier League club.

“He’s probably looking at the Sunderland job, thinking that if you can keep Sunderland in the Championship this year that’s a start.”
Coleman’s stock as a manager has rarely been higher, as he has done a remarkable job in charge of Wales.
Coleman guided Wales to the semi-final of Euro 2016, and almost helped his nation qualified for next year’s World Cup.

The new Sunderland boss will be under no illusions how tough life could be at the Stadium of Light though, after already seeing the problems at the North East club first-hand.
Coleman took charge of his first Sunderland game in midweek, but saw his side beaten 2-1 by Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Sunderland are next in action this weekend, when they take on Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.
