Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be interested in appointing Derek McInnes.

Rangers have been heavily linked with McInnes recently, but bringing the Aberdeen boss in has proven problematic.
The Dons are fighting hard to keep hold of their current manager, and McCoist believes that McInnes may have some concerns over moving to Ibrox.

“I think he does but he will have one or two doubts,” McCoist admitted.
“It’s clearly not the ideal timing to get the Rangers job, but he’ll be weighing everything up. It’s a big decision to make.”
McInnes helped Aberdeen finish above Rangers last season, but was beaten by the Gers in his side’s last match.
Rangers won 2-1 at Pittodrie last weekend, in what was arguably their most impressive result of the season so far.

Rangers are now in second place in the Scottish Premiership table, but it would be false to suggest that all is well at Ibrox.
Rangers have work to do to close the gap on Celtic, and both Mark Warburton and Pedro Caixinha have struggled at the Glasgow club in recent times.
Rangers have been looking for a new permanent boss for well over a month now, and there is a hope that their search will come to an end soon.
