Ally McCoist has waxed lyrical about Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on talkSPORT.
The pundit says the Gunners boss has been working some real “magic” at the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta has done a fantastic job at Arsenal since taking the reins in late 2019.

At the time, the Gunners were winning domestic cups, but didn’t like Premier League title contenders.
It has taken Arteta a while to clear out the deadwood at Arsenal and completely revamp his squad.
There has been considerable criticism of the 41-year-old along the way.
However, Arteta has very much been vindicated as his charges edge closer to the Premier League title.
On Tuesday, talkSPORT presenter Laura Woods asked McCoist whether he felt Arteta or Eddie Howe had made the bigger impact.
“I’m just going for Arteta,” replied McCoist.
“I love what’s happening at Newcastle, I really do, I’ve got to say.
“Eddie Howe, just a great place to be, Newcastle. The place is absolutely jumping. They’re going places.
“But come on, Arteta, dear me, it’s magic what’s happening at Arsenal.”

Our view
It’s great to see Arteta finally receive the praise and plaudits his work deserves.
For so long, ‘trust the process’ almost became a sarcastic expression used by disgruntled fans about the manager.
Admittedly, there were some decisions that seemed off at the time, and results weren’t always great.
Offloading Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January without bringing a replacement, for example.
Then, Arsenal failed to make the Champions League, which obviously was disappointing.
Nevertheless, it all makes sense now. Arteta has completely revamped the squad and dressing room, and it works.
