Glasgow Rangers brought Daniel Candeias, Eduardo Herrera, Carlos Pena to Ibrox when Pedro Caixinha was in charge of the Gers.

Candeias of Rangers vies with Christie Elliott of Partick Thistle during the Betfred League Cup Quarter Final at Firhill Stadium on September 19, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Rangers legend Ally McCoist has asked whether Ibrox trio Daniel Candeias, Eduardo Herrera and Carlos Pena want to play for the Gers, as quoted by The Scottish Sun.

McCoist, who played for Rangers in the 1980s and the 1990s and managed the Scottish club from 2011 until 2014, posed the question following the Gers’ defeat to Dundee last Friday evening.

The Gers went down 2-1 to Dundee away from home at Dens Park in the Scottish Premiership, with Mark O’Hara scoring both the goals for the home team.

Eduardo Herrera of Rangers scores his teams third goal during the Betfred League Cup Quarter Final at Firhill Stadium on September 19, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

McCoist has asked whether winger Candeias, forward Herrera and midfielder Pena want to play for the Gers, with the trio having moved to the Glasgow giants in the summer transfer window when Pedro Caixinha was in charge of the first team.

The Scottish Sun quotes McCoist as saying: “Does Herrera want to be there? Does Candeias want to be there?

“Does Pena want to be there? I am not so sure. He [Pena] should have been running out and warming up himself trying to catch Graeme Murty’s eye.”
