Leeds United were again linked with Juventus forward Moise Kean last week.

Head coach Massimiliano Allegri of Juventus looks on during the serie A match between Juventus and Udinese Calcio on March 11, 2018 in Turin, Italy.

Leeds United could be in the market for another striker in the January transfer window, but fans should maybe end their hopes of seeing Moise Kean arrive at Elland Road.

The Whites saw Patrick Bamford go down with a major knee injury in September, and whilst he will be back in early 2019, Marcelo Bielsa may still be looking for another centre forward to help Kemar Roofe and youngster Tyler Roberts.

A number of names have been linked, including Kasimpasa’s Mbaye Diagne and Leyton Orient’s Macauley Bonne, but another name was touted last week after some summer links with the club.

SPORT reported that Leeds were one of three clubs, alongside Galatasaray and Marseille, to put offers on the table to take Juventus forward Moise Kean on loan for the rest of the season.

Agent Mino Raiola – who has a strong relationship with Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani – is believed to be hoping that Kean can go out in 2019 and play first-team football, and Leeds are allegedly offering themselves forward as a potential home.

Kean, 18, is one of Italian football’s top young talents having become the first player born in the 2000’s to appear in the Champions League back in 2016, and he spent last season on loan with Hellas Verona, scoring four times in 20 games.

Leeds may now be hoping to sign Kean, but Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri – speaking ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash with Valencia – has told Calciomercato that Kean isn’t going anywhere in January.

“He will remain at Juventus in January, he is a Juventus player and he is not considered a kid,” said Allegri. “The season is still long and everyone will be needed, he has started well and his time will come,” he added.
