As Leeds United gear themselves up to face West Ham United on Sunday, Jeremiah Mullen has been spotted in first-team training.

In fact, Football Daily shared a video from Sky Sports News in which one could catch a glimpse of the 18-year-old training with Sam Allardyce’s men.

The teenager is known to be adept at not just operating as a central defender but also as both a right-back and a left-back. In fact, Mullen even featured on the bench for Leeds during his side’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United.

Football Fan Cast branded the Scottish defender as “[Liam] Cooper 2.0”, whilst mentioning that he is an “immaculate” reader of the game.

Clearly, Jeremiah Mullen is extremely highly-rated, which is why it is not a shock to see Leeds boss Sam Allardyce promote him to first-team training ahead of his side’s upcoming contest against West Ham.

Huge vote of confidence in Jeremiah Mullen from Sam Allardyce

With the Whites just being a point behind Everton in the Premier League table in 18th place, they could potentially be nearing relegation if theirs as well as other results do not go their way.

Considering the situation at hand at Leeds, it is worth saying that Sam Allardyce must rate Jeremiah Mullen massively to call him up to senior training ahead of Leeds’ clash against West Ham.

After all, the kind of situation the club find themselves in, it would be understandable if the training session was held in a tight-knit group to prepare for a season-defining match.

Instead, Mullen was asked to be involved, which shows that he already seems to belong at the top level.
