Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s failure to win against Arsenal at home at the weekend.
Saint-Maximin featured for Newcastle in their Premier League game against Arsenal at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old winger did not start the match, but the youngster came on as a substitute in the 67th minute.
The Frenchman gave a good account of himself in front of the St. James’ Park faithful, as he made some bursting runs and tried to make things happen.
According to WhoScored, Saint-Maximin took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 100%, and attempted two dribbles.
Saint-Maximin – who joined Newcastle from Nice in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £16.5 million – has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result, which was 1-0 in Arsenal’s favour.
The 22-year-old French winger believes that there were some positives for Newcastle in the match, and he has also stated that he is proud to be playing for Steve Bruce’s side.
