Newcastle United ended their season with a defeat, losing 3-1 at home to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
The Magpies did take the lead through Dwight Gayle, but Virgil van Dijk, Divock Origi and Sadio Mane clinched the win for Liverpool.
Sunday also saw Newcastle fan account NUFC 360 announce their Player of the Year award winner, and there was a clear winner.
From more than 8,700 votes, Allan Saint-Maximin ran out the winner with 53% of the vote after a superb season.
Saint-Maximin joined Newcastle from Nice last summer, and some had worries about whether the skilful winger would have the required final product for the Premier League.
The 23-year-old has hit four goals and seven assists in all competitions this season, producing dazzling displays throughout.

However, when Saint-Maximin heard he had won the vote, he instead suggested that goalkeeper Martin Dubravka should have won.
Saint-Maximin noted that Dubravka is ‘amazing’, praising the Slovakian for a superb season of his own having made the most saves in the Premier League.
