Allan Saint-Maximin certainly appeared to be in a good mood this morning, amid rumours that Newcastle United’s takeover is on the verge of competition.

The Daily Mail reported last night that PIF’s deal to buy Newcastle was now at a very advanced stage.
It is widely expected that the Magpies will be under new ownership within just a matter of days, if not hours.
And Saint-Maximin showed his typical humour on Twitter after posting a very funny video on the social media platform.

Saint-Maximin may well be looking forward to Newcastle’s takeover more than most.
The Magpies new owners are expected to inject increased funds into the club, which should bring in added quality.
Saint-Maximin has often been let down by those around him during his time at St. James’ Park, with the Frenchman often left to be Newcastle’s only real source of attacking inspiration.
With more class around him, the 24-year-old could be a hugely dangerous weapon though.
And it is little wonder why he seems to be so excited by the rumours currently swirling around St. James’ Park.
