Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be attempting to bring Allan McGregor back.

McGregor’s contract at Hull City is due to expire at the end of the season, which has made Rangers free to talk to him.
And the veteran stopper is now keen to return to Ibrox, to finish his career.

McGregor was a fans’ favourite during his first stint with Rangers, which lasted for 14 years.
McGregor came through Rangers’ youth academy and kept net at Ibrox for 11 seasons between 2001 and 2012.

The 36-year-old has since gone on to represent the likes of Cardiff City, Besiktas and, most recently Hull, but now wants to return to Rangers.
If McGregor does sign it is currently unclear whether he will take Wes Foderingham’s place as Rangers’ number one for next season.
