New Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor comments after sealing Ibrox return.

Allan McGregor has explained there was ‘no way on earth’ he could refuse the chance rejoin Rangers.
McGregor clinched his return to Ibrox earlier today as he was announced as the first signing made under new manager Steven Gerrard.
The experienced goalkeeper joins from Hull City and left the club on good terms.

He sent a message on Twitter explaining his move, thanking everybody associated with Hull and asking that his desire to rejoin Rangers be understood.
McGregor left Rangers in 2012 when his contract expired at the time.
McGregor will compete with Wes Foderingham and Jak Alnwick for a first team place at Ibrox next season, providing both goalkeepers remain with the club.
Veteran McGregor is a short term solution for Rangers, but he also improves them right away, and he could prove to be a cornerstone of their rebuild over the next two seasons under Steven Gerrard, who will want to make a positive early impression.
