Liverpool are reportedly closing in on a deal for Brazilian youngster Allan Elias.
The 21-year-old has established himself as a regular at Palmeiras and is expected to be the next big name to move on from the Sao Paulo club.
Liverpool are ‘beginning to finalise’ the deal for Allan, according to Brazilian outlet The Football. Reports suggest he could join next summer.
Benfica were also said to be interested in the right-winger, but with Palmeiras reportedly favouring a move to Liverpool, a £30m transfer now looks likely.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, HITC thought it might be worth getting familiar with Allan’s story so far.
Allan is an exciting young winger

There is a growing sense that Liverpool will be in the market for a winger once the summer window opens.
In that respect, Allan certainly fits the profile. A left-footed player who usually lines up on the right for Palmeiras, he could eventually fill Mohamed Salah’s shoes in the long run.
Allan is not exactly lighting up the score sheet yet, with five goals in 64 matches for Palmeiras. But with one goal already in his first three Serie A games this season, there are signs that things might be starting to click.
He has all the traits you would expect from a Brazilian attacker – skilful, fast, and strong on the ball.
While he still has areas to improve and will be 22 by the time any potential move to Anfield happens, Allan has shown enough promise at youth level to suggest he could make an impact.
Allan looking to follow in the footsteps of Endrick and Estevao
Palmeiras have built a strong reputation for developing young talent, with both Endrick and Estevao fetching significant transfer fees in recent years.
While Allan may not have reached that level of buzz just yet, he does seem poised for a similar move to Europe this summer.
The 21-year-old is known for his strong work ethic and pressing ability, qualities that would fit well into Liverpool’s system.
Liverpool supporters will have to wait and see if there is real substance behind the links to Allan, but there are certainly qualities in his game worth keeping an eye on.
