Dharmesh Sheth has told Sky Sports News that he is getting information that Arsenal are working tirelessly to get transfers over the line now.

Arsenal are believed to be in the market to improve their squad this summer, with both Edu and Arteta already working hard to try and sort out a deal.

Arsenal are yet to get a deal over the line, but Sheth does hint that under the surface the Gunners’ chiefs are planing moves relentlessly.

And the Sky presenter had updates on their chase of both Ruben Neves and Ben White.

He said: “All the information I’m getting is that Edu and Mikel Arteta are working night and day to try and bring in arrivals ahead of this transfer window.

“With Xhaka going to Roma, there is plenty of interest in other players.

“Ruben Neves is one of them, Arsenal are very, very interested in him. We think he would cost around £40 million.

“Another one who is starting to build a little bit of momentum is a man who has been in the news with England, Ben White.

“I’m told Arsenal are one of a number of clubs who are interested in signing Ben White. PSG are thought to be interested as well as two of three other Premier League clubs.”

Two incoming additions?

If Arsenal could bring Neves to the club he could bolster their midfield.

With Granit Xhaka, Neves looks like a potentially younger model, who could be slightly more dynamic.

The Wolves midfielder has impressed over a number of seasons now, and his potential partnership with Thomas Partey could be a solid one.

White is also an interesting name to be linked. Arsenal are known to be looking for a new centre-back, but he would be a rather different type of defender to Luiz.

While the pair are both comfortable in possession, White is considerably younger and may not have the same leadership qualities right now.
