Kevin Campbell has said on the Highbury Squad YouTube channel that Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhailo Mudryk would be a good signing for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The former Arsenal striker believes that Mudryk, linked with a move to the Gunners, is “a really exciting player” who ticks all the boxes for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal urged to sign Mykhailo Mudryk in January
Campbell said about Mudryk: “He is a really exciting player, can play one-two through the pitch, and he can finish as well.
“I think he would fit. He fits all the boxes, with his age, with his talent, with his directness, and I think that could be a really good signing.”
Could a January transfer happen?
Mudryk is trying to force a move to Arsenal, but the Gunners are not willing to pay £100 million in transfer fees that Shakhtar want for the winger, according to TEAMtalk last week.
Arsenal themselves are keen on signing the Ukraine international winger and are pushing to get a deal done in the January transfer window.

However, Ukrainian giants Shakhtar want £100 million, the transfer fee that Manchester City paid Aston Villa for England international attacker Jack Grealish.
And, according to TEAMtalk, that is ‘an issue’.
So, could a transfer happen?
In our opinion, if Arsenal and Shakhtar do not agree on a transfer fee, then a deal is not going to happen next month.
Yes, Mudryk himself may want to move to the Gunners, but he has a contract at Shakhtar, who will surely want to make as much money as they can on the winger.
The 21-year-old winger has scored seven goals in 12 Ukrainian Premier League matches, and has scored three goals and given two assists in six UEFA Champions League games this season.
