Tyrone Mings has wished Anwar El Ghazi ‘all the best’ on his Instagram after he left Aston Villa for Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
On Wednesday, Villa announced on their website that El Ghazi has returned to his homeland after four-years in the colours of Claret & Blue, which included a number of memorable moments.
The 27-year-old was a key player in helping Villa earn promotion back to the promised land when he scored the crucial opening goal as Dean Smith’s side beat Derby County 2-1 at Wembley in 2019.
A Villa hero, El Ghazi became a key member for Smith as the Midlands side began to settle back into life in the Premier League.
But when Smith was sacked last season, El Ghazi found himself out of the picture under Steven Gerrard and now he begins life at PSV.
When El Ghazi expressed his gratitude towards Villa and happiness at representing the club, a number of players reacted in the comments section.
John McGinn wished him ‘good luck’, whilst Mile Jedinak added ‘best of luck on the next chapter’ and Tyrone Mings told him ‘all the best brother’.

Villa should never have been in a situation where they were in the Championship and trying to crawl back up to the Premier League.
But others put themselves in that position and players like El Ghazi picked up the pieces and brought life and passion back into the club.
The Dutch international earned hero status as a result and in decades to come he will still be remembered fondly by those at Villa.
