Hector Bellerin made his Premier League debut for Arsenal against Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin made his Premier League debut on Saturday when he started against Hull City.

Injury to Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers’s suspension meant that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger threw the 19-year-old against the Tigers at the Emirates Stadium.

Bellerin’s league debut did not end in glory, though, as Arsenal needed a late equaliser from Danny Welbeck to share the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

The youngster took to social networking site Twitter on Sunday to give his take on the first Premier League appearance of his career.

Despite not ending up on the winning team, the Spaniard gave a good account of himself on his league debut. Bellerin was not overly spectacular, but he played well and did his job efficiently at right-back.

It was not the first time that Bellerin had played for the Arsenal first team. He featured at right-back against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in Germany last month.

On that occasion, Arsenal lost 2-0, but once again Bellerin’s performance was not a disaster, as the stats below prove.
