New Leeds United boss, Jesse Marsch, was playing ‘fast and loose’ inside his technical area against Leicester City, according to Phil Dawkes, as he told BBC Sport.
The BBC reporter claimed, compared to Marcelo Bielsa, the American was ‘all over the shop’ during Leeds’ defeat.
Marsch suffered a narrow loss in his first game as Leeds boss, with Harvey Barnes coming back to haunt the Yorkshire club again.
During his days at Elland Road, Bielsa was famous for sitting on his bucket, but also prowling up and down the touchline if need be.
That level of passion is also seemingly being shown by Marsch, as a BBC reporter shared what he noticed from the 48-year-old at the King Power.
“Jesse Marsch is playing fast and loose with his technical area here,” said Dawkes.
“Aside from when he was on the bucket, Marcelo Bielsa was a very organised pacer of his territory on the touchline.
“But the American is all over the shop, venturing out of the marked zone. He’ll have an impressive heatmap just from this opening alone.”

It would have been an afternoon of mixed emotions from Marsch because his side deserved more from the game.
From the chances Leeds created, they will be kicking themselves because the Foxes were lucky to finish the game with a clean sheet.
Added with that, there was more calmness and hope from the defensive side of their game, which had gone well and truly out of the window recently.
Either way, Marsch will be hoping for a far better outcome when he takes charge of his first home game against Aston Villa on Thursday.
The only problem is that he faces a Villa side on the back of two wins and two clean sheets on the bounce, including a 4-0 win against Southampton on Saturday.
