Tottenham Hotspur fans are urging Jose Mourinho to stick with Japhet Tanganga for their Europa League game this evening.

Tottenham are set to take on Wolfsberger AC in the Europa League later, but they will be without their first choice right-back in Serge Aurier.

Jose Mourinho confirmed to the club’s official app that Aurier would miss the next week’s worth of games for Tottenham.

And Spurs supporters now think that Tanganga should be given a run of games ahead of Matt Doherty.

Tanganga did impress for Tottenham in their 3-0 defeat against Manchester City at the weekend, in a rare starting chance this season.

Despite Spurs’s struggles at the back, Mourinho has seemed reluctant to trust Tanganga.

However, the youngster’s showing against City was arguably more impressive than any display Doherty has produced in his time at Tottenham so far.

Doherty has really struggled since moving to Spurs from Wolves in the summer, and concerns persist over the Irish international’s poor form.
