Roy Keane has stated ‘all credit’ to Manchester City as they beat Liverpool to the Premier League title.
The Premier League legend added that Manchester City, who came from 2-0 down to beat Aston Villa 3-2 on the final day of the season, were ‘outstanding’ at the Etihad.
The scripts were written before the game for Steven Gerrard to help his old team to the Premier League title.
When Villa were leading 2-0, the home fans were fearing the worst, but as soon as Man City scored, the floodgates opened – and within five minutes, it all changed.
After the game, Keane praised Manchester City on Sky Sports, as they have now clinched a fourth Premier League title from their last five.
“To be fair to this Man City group over the years, they do keep going until the end,” said Keane.
“De Bruyne turned on the magic, in the end. When they got the first goal, you felt it, the momentum was back with Man City.
“When you are 2-0 down, and you know you need three goals to win the league, it’s a long way back. Outstanding. All credit to Man City – all the brilliant teams find a way to win.”

Man City can celebrate long into the night because their season is over and they have another title to call for it.
Whilst those in Liverpool will be kicking themselves and on the floor, at the end of the day, it wasn’t in their hands going into today’s game.
Added with that, Jurgen Klopp and his players have the chance to create history of their own and that’s becoming champions of Europe.
If they can overcome the relentless machine that is Real Madrid next week, then it would three trophies in one season for the Merseyside club.
