The Mirror has suggested that Adrian will start in place of Alisson for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool against Leeds United at Elland Road this weekend.
Liverpool will take on Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Premier League on Sunday.
Brazil goalkeeper Alisson could be suspended for the match because he did not travel with his national team during the international break, according to BBC Sport.
In a feature looking at how Liverpool could line up against Leeds, The Mirror have stated that ‘in goal Adrian is set to deputise for the banned Alisson, though Caoimhin Kelleher is also in with a shout to start’.
Alisson over Caoimhin Kelleher?
Adrian made three appearances in the Premier League in 2020-21 and has yet to feature in the league this season.
The former West Ham United goalkeeper is 34 and is much more experienced than Kelleher.

Kelleher is only 22, and although he has already played for the Republic of Ireland national side, he has played only twice in the Premier League so far in his career.
Liverpool manager Klopp is already aware of how tough the game against Leeds will be, and it is very likely that he will choose experience over youth in goal for this particular match.
