The Brazil international has been out with injury since the opening day of the season.
Remarkably the Reds are in first place with a 100 per cent record after eight games.
And now they get arguably the best goalkeeper in the world back.
Alisson was delighted to return to training and expressed his happiness with a short message.
Alisson received a short reply from Adrian, who wrote simply ‘Welcome back’.
Adrian has filled in admirably for Alisson, helping Liverpool to keep their 100 per cent record, and win the UEFA Super Cup.
He will revert to a bench role this weekend with Alisson set to return against Manchester United.
