Alisson suffered a calf injury in the Premier League opener against Norwich City.
He faces a spell on the sidelines, and has been temporarily replaced by former West Ham stopper Adrian.
Adrian was the hero last night as Liverpool won a penalty shootout, following a 2-2 draw.
Alisson lauded his teammates after the victory.
Adrian did well for the Reds, but also gave away a penalty in extra time.
He is a fine stand in, but Liverpool are a different team when golden glove winner Alisson is in goal.
