Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has told The Liverpool Echo that Alisson will play against Nottingham Forest instead of Caoimhin Kelleher.
Klopp’s Liverpool will take on Championship club Nottingham Forest away from home at the City Ground in the sixth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
Alisson is the first-choice goalkeeper, and he started against Norwich City in the last round.
Liverpool boss Klopp has said that Alisson will play against Forest instead of second-choice goalkeeper Kelleher.
Klopp said when asked which goalkeeper will play: “”Ali will play.”
Alisson ahead of Caoimhin Kelleher for Arsenal v Nottingham Forest
In our view, it makes sense for Klopp to include Alisson ahead of Kelleher in the FA Cup tie against Forest.
Yes, we know that the 23-year-old is a brilliant goalkeeper who has done well for the Reds when he has been called into action.

However, Alisson is a better goalkeeper, and the tie against Forest is massive.
Liverpool need their best available players against the Reds, and even though Kelleher is fit, in our view, Alisson should be given the nod ahead of him.
After all, a single mistake could cost Liverpool the tie against Forest and the chance to win the FA Cup.
