The Liverpool goalkeeper has been in excellent form in his debut season for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Liverpool star Alisson Becker sat down for an exclusive interview with the Liverpool Echo, and shared how a conversation he shared with Roberto Firmino convinced him into moving to Anfield.
The 26-year-old joined the Reds from Roma in the summer of 2018, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £66.8 million, and he has gone on to be a real hit on Merseyside, keeping 20 clean sheets in his 40 appearances thus far, and conceding just 27 goals.
His arrival at Anfield has coincided with Liverpool’s rise to the top of the Premier League table, and if they do go on to win the title, they will owe a great deal of gratitude to the Brazilian stopper.
Alisson spoke to the Liverpool Echo, and shared how his countryman Roberto Firmino sold him the idea of joining Liverpool:

“I spoke to Roberto and others before I came here and they told me about the British and that the people are very organised. He told me how things run in the club and that the emphasis is all about football so there were not too many mysteries. It’s a very good life with a very good team. For me it was an important step in my career.”
Liverpool have just six Premier League games remaining this season, and if they are to win the title, they will most probably have to win all of those.
And if Alisson continues his fine form, they will have every chance of doing just that.
