Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the Roma goalkeeper.

Liverpool target Alisson Becker spoke to reporters after his Brazil side beat Austria 3-0 in their final World Cup warm-up game yesterday, and responded when asked whether he will be leaving Roma this summer, as quoted by Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato.
According to a report from Brazilian publication UOL Esporte, the Reds held talks with the 25-year-old goalkeeper’s agents just last week, regarding a summer switch to Anfield.

The same report claims that Alisson would cost Liverpool €70 million (£61.6 million) – an extortionate amount for a goalkeeper, but a figure that could prove to be priceless if the Merseysiders go on to win the league title for the first time since 1990.
The Brazil international spoke to reporters yesterday, and insisted that he wants his future decided before the World Cup begins, one way or the other, as quoted by Italian publication Calcio Mercato:

“I think everything will be resolved before the World Cup begins, it’s what I want. The truth is that I left everything in the hands of my manager. If everything is not resolved, it will be discussed after the World Cup. Right now, I’m focused only on the World Cup.”
Liverpool fans have already experienced disappointment during this summer’s transfer window, following Nabil Fekir’s failed move to Anfield, so the signing of Alisson would be a much needed morale boost for the club and its fans.
