Nottingham Forest could snap up a bargain by moving for Ali Crawford.

Nottingham Forest should consider moving for Ali Crawford, after the midfielder revealed he wanted to quit Hamilton in the summer.
He said: “I think I have paid my dues here because I have been here for 11 years now. It’s maybe time for a change in the summer.”
With Crawford set to be available on a free, Forest should have taken note of the 26-year-old’s comments.

Crawford has not got going this season, due to injury, but his previous performances have shown just how talented a player he is.
However, Crawford has previously suggested that a move to England is what he wants.
He said to the Daily Record, back in 2016: “I’d like to go down to England but if another move in Scotland comes up then so be it.”

That could put Forest in pole position to sign Crawford, if they do make him an offer.
Of course, Forest may be loathed to buy from Scotland, after Jason Cummings’ failure to make an impact this term and Barrie McKay’s recent struggles.
But Crawford would be a relatively low risk signing, and he could offer them a lot.
Crawford claimed 10 goals and eight assists last term, and if he could carry that form into the Championship, he would be an impressive addition for Forest on a free transfer.
