Nottingham Forest midfielder Adlene Guedioura helped his nation to a 1-0 win over Senegal yesterday.

Nottingham Forest’s Adlene Guedioura has been heavily praised for his performance for Algeria yesterday.
The Forest man was selected to start for his nation at the African Cup of Nations, as Algeria picked up a 1-0 win over Senegal.
Guedioura, who was not always a regular at Forest last term, provided a solid shield in front of his side’s defence.
And Forest fans will be very encouraged to read the reaction to Guedioura’s display yesterday.
Algeria have now won their first two matches at the international tournament, and are in a strong position to make it through to the knockout stages.
Guedioura could have a key part to play and that could be good news for Forest.
If he keeps up this sort of form Guedioura is set to return to Forest training and be full of confidence ahead of next season.
