The agent of Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, Jonne Lindblom, has criticised the statement released by Celtic on David Turnbull on Twitter.
Lindblom, who represents Rangers strike Morelos, believes that Celtic’s statement on the Motherwell midfielder is “weird”.
The Glasgow giants recently stated on Twitter that although they have reached an agreement with Scottish Premiership rivals Motherwell over the transfer of Turnbull, the 19-year-old midfielder’s agent has not accepted the offer made by the Scotland Under-21 international.
Celtic transfer off?
Turnbull is a very good and promising young midfielder, and the Scottish youngster would be a very good signing for Celtic in the summer transfer window.
While it could take a while for the teenager to establish himself in the Celtic first team, he could develop into a very important player for the club in the coming years.
It will be interesting to see if Celtic and Turnbull’s agent can reach an agreement over the transfer of the midfielder to Celtic Park in the summer transfer window.
