Alfredo Morelos is Rangers’ player of the year.

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is toasting being named the club’s player the year.
Morelos can consider himself a little fortunate considering he is still in the doghouse after his fifth red card of the season.
Despite his disciplinary problems, Morelos is Rangers’ top goalscorer. It’s why the club and their fans persist with him.
Morelos does not take his achievements and status at Rangers for granted.
He sent an emotional message on Instagram last night along with a picture of himself with the club’s player of the year award and manager Steven Gerrard.
It read: “Waking up every day to fight for my goals, face my fears, rise up and continue to overcome everyday as a person and as a footballer I see it reflected in what I thank God for so many blessings.
“I feel very happy to have won these prizes it is reflection that I am doing things right and motivates me to do better every day.
“Total thanks to all my colleagues and to all the fans of this great team. It has been a fundamental part in my career.”

Morelos is only 22-years-old and is still learning on the job as Rangers main man.
This year the highs and lows have been more extreme than ever before.
Morelos needs to learn to ignore provocation on the pitch and let his actions do the talking in front of goal.
