The Rangers striker has now scored 21 times for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox outfit this season.

Some Aston Villa supporters are urging their side to sign Alfredo Morelos are the Rangers striker scored again for Rangers on Thursday.
Morelos’s opener in Rangers’ 2-0 win against Porto was his 21st goal of the season for Steven Gerrard’s side, across all competitions – he has also contributed seven assists.
The Colombian’s form has already seen him linked with a move away from Rangers in the January transfer window, with Aston Villa and Crystal Palace the clubs most prominently linked.
And fans of the former were particularly impressed by Morelos’s latest showing, on Twitter…
Na id sign Morelos! All day what a ******* handful he is! 11 goals in Europe this season? Wow! I’d pay up to £17 mil for him! #avfc

A £20 million fee has been widely mooted for Morelos, although Rangers’ valuation is likely to exceed that given his form and the fact they would not want to sell him midway through a campaign in which the Gers are competing for a first Premiership title in nine years.
That would still be a relative snip for Premier League clubs such as Aston Villa, who spent in excess of £100 million on players in the summer window alone.
