Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is an important player for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club.

Morelos has revealed that he had offers from clubs in Italy, Spain, France and England, and has disclosed that Rangers manager Steven Gerrard did not want to sell him.
The Scottish Sun quotes Morelos as saying: “I had proposals from Italy, Spain, France and England, but the manager told me that I will stay.
“But I wanted to take the opportunity to continue learning under the leadership of a legend like Steven Gerrard.”

Rangers stay
Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and it was best for Rangers that the Colombia international striker did not leave Ibrox in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old has made 23 starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, scoring 16 goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Rangers are still in the hunt for the Scottish Premiership title this season, and with Morelos banging in the goals for fun, the Gers will be confident of pushing bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic all the way.
The Gers will take on Aberdeen away from home in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals on Sunday afternoon.
