Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers brought Alfredo Morelos and Carlos Pena to Ibrox in the summer transfer window.

Pena, who is 27 years of age and operates as a midfielder, joined Scottish club Rangers from Mexican side Guadalajara in the summer for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £2.2 million.
Morelos, who is 21 years old and plays as a striker, moved to the Gers in the summer transfer window from Finnish club Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi for a fee reported by The Daily Record to be worth £1m.

The former Colombia Under-20 international has stated that Mexico international midfielder Pena is the best striker at Rangers.
“So far, here, Carlos Pena,” The Sun quotes Morelos as saying when asked who the best player he has shared a team with.

Pena arrived at Rangers amid much expectation in the summer transfer window, but the Mexico international has not played well for the Gers so far this season.
The 27-year-old is certainly talented, but the Ibrox faithful are yet to see his true quality. Although Morelos’s comments about Pena underline the quality of the midfielder, Rangers fans could be surprised.
