Glasgow Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos has been speaking about his future at Ibrox.

Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos told The Scottish Sun today that he has designs on being a Premier League player at some point in the future.
The Colombian striker was linked with a move to China this past January in speculation which ultimately led to nothing, despite rumours that a £7 million bid had been submitted.
But Morelos, a £1 million signing last summer, apparently has ambitions a bit closer to Scotland and revealed that a move down South would certainly appeal to him.

“I play in a country very close to the English Premier League and I think that many teams are watching me,” he told The Scottish Sun.
“So I am very happy with what I am doing right now. I have a positive mentality and if a team in England showed serious interest in me, it would be very exciting.”
Long way to go?
Problem is, Morelos is nowhere near good enough for the Premier League….yet.
The 21-year-old does lead the way in the Premiership’s Golden Boot stakes, having scored 12 times in 25 league appearances in what is his debut season at Ibrox.
And although that’s an impressive feat, it’s not going to earn him a move to England’s top flight at the moment.

Morelos could and probably should have a lot more goals under his belt, after enduring a 10-match barren spell from September until December, and such inconsistency won’t exactly endear him to many elite clubs.
His first season with the Gers is nowhere near as prolific as Moussa Dembele’s debut campaign with Celtic at the moment, with the Frenchman hitting 30 goals in all competitions last term, and yet Brighton & Hove Albion were the biggest English interested in him this past January.
Morelos, like Dembele, is a fine talent, but there is a long, long way to go before he makes Premier League sides stand up and take notice.
