Alfred N’Diaye joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan from Villarreal in the summer of 2017.
N’Diaye joined Championship club Wolves from Spanish side Villarreal in the summer of 2017.
The 27-year-old midfielder moved to the Wanderers on loan for the 2017-18 campaign.
The Senegal international has suggested that he wants to remain at the Molineux Stadium beyond the summer of 2018 and wants to play in the Premier League next season with Wolves.
N’Diaye told The Sun: “Now I’m on loan but I really appreciate the club. We’re top of the league and it’s a good season.
“Let’s see with the club. I hope I can stay as I feel good in Wolverhampton in my life and in football.”
Making deal permanent
Wolves are running away with the Championship title and should earn automatic promotion to the Premier League for the 2018-19 campaign.
N’Diaye has played well for the Wanderers and has been an important figure in Nuno’s team so far this season.
The former Sunderland midfielder has scored three goals and provided one assist in 11 Championship starts for Wolves so far this campaign.
It would make sense for Wolves to sign N’Diaye on a permanent contract in the summer of 2018, especially given that the midfielder is enjoying playing for the Wanderers.
According to AS, if N’Diaye makes more than 25 appearances for Wolves this season, then the Wanderers will have to sign him on a permanent contract for £8 million (€9m).
