Wolverhampton Wanderers have been dominant all season long.
Wolves ace Alfred N’Diaye sat down for an exclusive interview with the Express & Star, and shared how Nuno Espirito Santo continues to insist that all of his players remain focused on the task in hand, rather than look forward to the potential of Premier League football next season.
The Black Country outfit have been superb from the very first game of the season, and currently sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table, 11 points clear of second placed Derby County with only 16 league games remaining.
Nuno must be given huge amounts of credit for the manner in which he has instilled a winning mentality into the Wolves squad.
N’Diaye sat down for an exclusive interview with the Express & Star, and opened up on how his manager’s relentless approach to the season has rubbed off on the players:
“We have to keep this level. We need to be focused. We’re top of the league but it’s not finished – we have to keep it for 16 games so it’s important to keep working. It’s good but it’s not finished. We have to keep it like that. We know it – we play every game like a final. The gaffer tells us that all of the time.”
Next up for N’Diaye and co is a home game against Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Saturday, and it would take a brave man to bet against them racking up another win, and in doing so, moving another step closer to promotion back to the top flight.
