
Alfonso Pedraza has sent a message to Leeds United on Twitter after the Villarreal star played against Marcelo Bielsa’s side on Saturday.
Leeds played against Spanish club Villarreal in a pre-season friendly last night.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Pedraza, who can operate as a left-winger or as a left-back, featured in the game.
The 25-year-old started the match and played for 60 minutes.
The former Spain Under-21 international is an ex-Leeds loanee.
Pedraza had a loan spell at the West Yorkshire club from Villarreal in the second half of the 2016-17 season.

The Spaniard made eight starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds during his loan spell.
Pedraza scored one goal in those games.
The Villarreal star has wished Leeds the best of luck this season after playing against Bielsa’s team this season.

Pedraza wrote on Twitter, which when translated from Spanish reads: “The preseason is over and the Super Cup awaits us.
“It was a pleasure to meet again @LUFC Good luck !!”
Leeds will be looking to finish in the top half of the Premier League table this season, just like they did in 2020-21.
As for Villarreal, Unai Emery’s side will be aiming to challenge for the La Liga top four.
The Yellow Submarine will also play in the Champions League this season after winning the Europa League in 2020-21.
