Tottenham Hotspur are linked with the £30 million move for the Swansea City ace.
Alfie Mawson has told BBC Sport that he is happy at Swansea City, amid speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to The Telegraph, Tottenham have tried to reduce City’s £30 million asking price by offering them Joshua Onomah on loan for next season.
The 23-year-old centre-half is one of the hottest young English talents in the Premier League, prompting Spurs’ reported interest.

But Mawson has told BBC Sport that although he is flattered by speculation linking him with bigger clubs, he is happy to remain at The Liberty Stadium for now.
He said: “I’m very grounded and very level-headed when it comes to that. It’s all speculation. It’s nice to hear, but I’m a Swansea player and I’m more than happy here.
“There’s always talk and there’s loads of speculation, but I’m happy to be here under the gaffer.”
Tottenham have had a frustrating transfer window so far and Mawson’s reluctance to join will only compound a disappointing summer.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has failed to sign anybody yet, but the Argentine has a bit more money to play with now since Kyle Walker completed a £54 million switch to Manchester City this week.
Mawson, whose contract expires in 2020, made 27 Premier League appearances for the Swans last season.
