Alexandre Mlinde does not appear to have joined West Ham United, despite hinting at it on Instagram.
Alexandre Mlinde has appeared to deny that he has joined West Ham United.
The young striker was linked with a move to West Ham two years ago when he was 17 [Foot Mercato].
Nothing ever came of it but the teenager prompted speculation that he might’ve finally joined the East Londoners recently by posting something on Instagram.
Mlinde uploaded a photo of himself wearing a Hammers jersey and it seemed like they had got their man after all.
But is that the case? If a screenshot from a direct message conversation with Mlinde is to be believed, then no it isn’t the case.
One West Ham fan asked Mlinde if he had joined his club and here is his response:

By all accounts it seems like he donned the West Ham shirt as a fan rather than a player and time will tell whether he gets his wish and joins Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
